Current Challenge

  • Hey everyone, Laurel here with my take on this week’s challenge. I really like the feminine feel to this week’s challenge and I was inspired by the colors, sketch, flowers and umbrella.

I thought the Silly Goose collection by Carta Bella worked well. Such soft pretty colors and how can you not love all the cute geese! For the scallop I used an old border punch from Stampin’ Up! Of course some stitching, I love to stitch on my cards. What is something that you incorporate most of the time?

Don’t forget to share your project in our Facebook group!

  • This week’s Inspired By Challenge is a beautiful reminder that April showers bring May flowers!  This dreamy umbrella overflowing with cascading blooms creates a soft, romantic scene full of delicate movement and elegant detail. The hanging florals, gentle color palette, and sparkling raindrop accents bring together the perfect blend of springtime freshness and whimsical charm.

Will you be inspired by the flowing floral elements, the soft pink and berry tones, or the graceful umbrella shape? Maybe it’s the layered textures, the sense of movement, or the light and airy feel that sparks your creativity. However you interpret it, let this lovely springtime image guide your design.

  • Hello everyone.  Von Marie here and I’m so excited to be on the Blog and for this weeks challenge as usual they are all so fun. I love this week Balloons they are just so Happy and this weeks card sketch…I love it.

    Okay let’s get started:

Well I was inspired by the Balloons, Colors, and Card Sketch.  I made this really easy card It probably took me 10 mins lol.  It’s so cute too.  I used Not 2 Shabby Shop for the Make A Wish Paper Pack and Make A Wish Ephemera.  I Tried to mimic the sketch so I cut out a piece of pattern paper and I had a stitched piece already ready for me from a previous project. The inspiration photo has purple in it so, I cut some purple cardstock.

I love that there was a sentiment in the ephemera pack too.  So easy love it.  I glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how this card came it.  I love Bunnies.

You still have time to join us!

  • My card today was inspired by the balloon arch and the pretty pastel colors in the inspiration photo for this week’s Inspired By theme – BALLOONS. I think I got pretty close to the sketch as well.

Do you have certain stamps or dies that just feel timeless to you? That’s how I feel about this adorable Balloon Bunny stamp from Lily of the Valley (LOTV) Stamps. While they no longer offer rubber stamps, this cutie is still available as a digital download.

For the background, I used the Layered Birthday stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. The daisies were created with texture paste through part of a layered stencil from Erin Lee Creative. The die cut sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

Some fussy cutting, enamel dots, and splatters finished my card off nicely.

I’m loving the creativity of my teammates and would really love to see how you’re inspired by this week’s challenge too. I hope you’ll join us this week! ~MarDi

  • Nothing says happy like daisies and balloons! Throw in some pastel colors and there is a smile on my face.

I had the perfect background to use for this week’s challenge, Papertrey Ink’s “Spring Basket.” The die set includes a full basket die, but also one with an open weave so you can add your own colors. I added pastels and topped it with a stacked lavender bow. The “Into the Blooms: Daisies” dies framed my basket’ on one side,

The sentiment is from The Greetery’s “Opposites Attract.” I kept the background simple using Stampin’ Up’s “Beautiful Pattern” 3D embossing folder that looks woven, too.

Hope you are enjoying some pretty spring colors and blooms near you. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Today’s project was inspired by the soft, dreamy colors and playful charm on the Inspired By Challenge, and I had so much fun bringing those happy party vibes into a card design.

The inspiration photo immediately drew me in with it’s gorgeous pastel palette of sunshine yellow, lavender, soft pink and sky blue. Of course, the balloons became the star of the show for this card. I layered a mix of hearts, stars, circles to create a whimsical balloon bouquet bursting with happiness.

Thanks so much for stopping by today~we always love seeing how the inspiration photos spark your creativity in new ways. Make sure to play along.

  • Hey everyone, happy Friday! This week I was inspired by the colors and the theme to create my card. I actually used the Easter Basket collection from Echo Park, though if I didn’t tell you, you would never know it was an Easter collection! I love when paper packs are versatile.

The Cake stamp and die is from CTMH one and I paired it with a notebook stamp and die from Stampin Up. I paper pieced the cake and mounted it on foam squares. I then topped it with the birthday die from Echo Park. This was one of those 11th hour type of cards and luckily for me, it all went together well.

  • This week’s Inspired By Challenge is full of festive fun and pastel party vibes! A cheerful balloon garland in soft spring colors frames this playful celebration scene, complete with gingham patterns, sweet bunny details, and a bright, happy atmosphere. The mix of yellow, lavender, pink, and mint creates a lighthearted palette that feels perfect for springtime gatherings.

Will you be inspired by the rounded balloon shapes, the soft pastel colors, or the layered party décor? Maybe it’s the playful florals, the repeating patterns, or the overall joyful energy that sparks your creativity. However you interpret it, let this fun and festive scene guide your next project.
