From Caterpillar to Candy

this week’s challenge was all about bright colors and playful inspiration. The caterpillar photo immediately had me thinking of the bold pops of orange, green and purple and I knew they would be perfect for a Halloween card.

I pulled those colors into this sweet little candy shaped card, adding plenty of cheerful patterns, pink and white twine and the cutest little black kitty. And because every Halloween project needs a little mischieft, I WANT CANDY!!!! seemed the perfect finishing touch.

I love taking inspiration from something completely unexpected and turning it into a project that feels totally different. Bright, happy, a little spooky and definitely ready for Halloween!
