We can’t wait to see what you create!
My card for the FROGS challenge is definitely inspired by the colors and frogs in the inspiration prompts. I couldn’t help but think of my DT friend, Amy @craftee1, while I was making this because of how much she loves green.
When I first got into card making, I quickly became enamoured with creating whimsical fairy tale or woodland scenes. I grew out of that phase but I still love it very much, so I thoroughly enjoyed creating this fun rainforest scene with these fabulous Your Next Stamp frogs. I have used this set so many times. I really miss this company.
There are many products used in the making of this card, and I may not be able to remember them all. The background panel was something I had in my stash from experimenting with a Technique Junkies background stamp. I layered additional foliage with stamps and stencils. I used mushroom and foliage dies from Papertrey Ink, Lawn Fawn, and IOS. The woodgrain frame is from Hero Arts.
The letter dies that spell HOP are also from Your Next Stamp. The rest of the sentiment is from MFT Stamps.
It’s so satisfying to create something with products from my stash, and to be inspired with new ways to use them. I will continue to say it, this is why I love card challenges and “Inspired By” is my favorite.
We hop you will join us this week (pun intended). ~MarDi
This week’s Inspired By…Frogs challenge had me smiling from the start~because honestly what’s cuter than a happy little frog?
I took my creativity cues from the inspiration photo’s simple shapes and playful personality. I kept the soft green tones, uncomplicated design letting the sweet frog face to be the undeniable focal point. A bit of charm and texture added with twine and the daisy, the Oh Happy Day just felt like the perfect pairing with the Happy, Hoppy Frog.
It’s just a joyful little card, playful and fun. This little frog is proof that a smile can go a long way.
Share with us how these little frogs inspire you to create.
Hey everyone, Laurel here. I bet you know how I was inspired this week LOL
I actually thought I had a couple of frog stamps but in one of my purges I must have gotten rid of them so I found this fun set of frogs and decided they would be perfect.
The collection comes with both coloured in and line drawing Clip Art. I was in a hurry and decided the coloured version was perfect. I printed, cut out and mounted on foam squares. The paper is from Echo Park and the die and sentiment are from Honey Bee Stamps. I also mounted the sentiment of foam squares.

Hello everyone. Can you believe we are in May already? I’m still in shock! Well I do know we have a New challenge #IB387 and it’s so much fun Vases is our theme and a New Fun Card Sketch.
Let’s Get Started:
I was inspired by the vases and colors. I even was inspired by the card sketch. I started out with some flowers, flower centers, and stems dies from My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts February 2026. I used pink, and green cardstock from my stash. I ink blended the greenery with some Hero Arts Ombre’ Lime to Forever Green ink. I used a small blending brush to get a little darker green ink on my green stems and flower centers as I was trying to match the inspiration photo. I also ink blended my pink cardstock flowers with Hero Arts Azalea ink.
I used a Vase die from Spellbinders advent callendar that I cut out with pink cardstock and white cardstock. On my white vase I doodled a little using a green Attenew marker I drew lines and colored a strip on top kinda like the vase in photo. I then cut it with my scissors and glued it to my pink vase. Next, I cut out dark blue cardstock and a white strip of white cardstock. I glued everything to a green A2 top folding card base. I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock with Hero Hues Moss Green ink using my Monthly Hero stamp set and used the coordinating die to cut it out and a few extras to glue for dimension. I love how clean this card looks. I had fun with this challenge. Now it’s your turn!

In honor of Mother’s Day here in the US, I created a Mother’s Day card for my mother-in-law. She has been, and continues to be a huge supporter of my craft, and was quite the crafter herself in the past. She never got into paper crafts but she was a skilled toll painter and a seamstress like no other.
The colors and flowers in the inspiration photo are what inspired my card. I was surprised by how few options I had in my stash for vases. I guess I’ll have to keep an eye out next time I’m shopping an online sale.
I love the combination of pink and navy blue, and since I wanted this to be a more elegant design, I embossed this large Beautiful Flowers stamp from Simon Says Stamp with fine gold embossing powder, once on white card stock, and again on navy blue cardstock.
I colored the flowers and leaves with copic markers and added some shading to the flowers with Prismacolor pencils. I used the die in the set to cut out the image and colored the white edges with a navy blue copic marker to match the navy cardstock. Before I layered my images, I embossed the navy background panel with a Spellbinders embossing folder called Columns. Then I applied the gold/navy floral and popped up the colored florals with foam tape.
I used a Happy Mother’s Day die from Papertrey Ink and cut two layers of navy and one layer of gold and layered them so the sentiment would stand out better.
A few gems in the flower centers completes my card, except for the inside. I’ll tackle that next.
We would love for you to join the Inspired By challenge this week. What inspires you about this week’s prompts? Can’t wait to see! ~MarDi
I’m here today with a bouquet inspired by the “Vases” photo…just perfect for Mother’s Day! I was inspired by the lovely colors, theme, and bold background!
The flowers are from The Greetery’s “Oopsie Daisy” set, tucked in an “It’s a Wrap: Posy Pocket .” I shaded the top pink and left the bottom navy and white like the photo. The “Seed Catalog” image is carried from the bouquet to the background…this time stamped over brilliant blue! The “Scripted Sentiments“ set provided the perfect elegant “thanks” that I needed.
Thankful for all of the special women in our lives…moms, grandmothers, aunts, special friends. I am thankful for my two older sisters (24 & 17 years older!) who shaped my life immeasurably after our beloved mother passed away when I was 18. I’m lucky to share this day with my own two beautiful daughters, too. Wishing you all a moment to cherish today with someone special.❤️
