My card for the FROGS challenge is definitely inspired by the colors and frogs in the inspiration prompts. I couldn’t help but think of my DT friend, Amy @craftee1, while I was making this because of how much she loves green.
When I first got into card making, I quickly became enamoured with creating whimsical fairy tale or woodland scenes. I grew out of that phase but I still love it very much, so I thoroughly enjoyed creating this fun rainforest scene with these fabulous Your Next Stamp frogs. I have used this set so many times. I really miss this company.
There are many products used in the making of this card, and I may not be able to remember them all. The background panel was something I had in my stash from experimenting with a Technique Junkies background stamp. I layered additional foliage with stamps and stencils. I used mushroom and foliage dies from Papertrey Ink, Lawn Fawn, and IOS. The woodgrain frame is from Hero Arts.
The letter dies that spell HOP are also from Your Next Stamp. The rest of the sentiment is from MFT Stamps.
It’s so satisfying to create something with products from my stash, and to be inspired with new ways to use them. I will continue to say it, this is why I love card challenges and “Inspired By” is my favorite.
