I was so inspired by this week’s denim basket, and oh how I wish I could sew something that cool.! Lucky for us as stampers and card makers, there are always products that can help us create something similar out of paper (much quicker and easier, haha)! I reached waaaay back in the archives for Stampin Up’s woodblock, red rubber background stamp called “Denim” and paired it with amazing new products!

I stamped blue denim on cardstock, die cut it with The Greetery’s new “Brimming Baskets” die, then embossed with the coordinating embossing folder. Filled it with lovely “Coastal Cuttings” florals.

For the background, I stamped another blue denim piece, embossed with Honey Bee Stamps “Tooled Leather” embossing folder, then lightly ran a darker blue ink pad over the top to bring out the texture. It’s so beautiful, and really looks like fabric. I embossed a second cream-colored piece for the top, and tucked the pieces in a stamped “Sweetest Frames Capsule Edition” by The Greetery. I used the coordinating dies to cut the card base, and added a simple thank. you from “Laid Back Basics.”
Thank you so much for stopping by!
