Hello everyone. Von Marie here and I’m so excited to be on the blog this Tuesday! This week we have Clothes Pins #IB386 as our theme so much fun and a New Card Sketch.
Let’s get Started:
I do own some clothes pins but where are they? I can’t remember. LOL The show must go on! So, I was inspired by the blue, pink, greens, and reds in the inspiration photo as well as the roses.
I couldn’t think of a small roses stencil in my stash but I did have this MFT Stencil Spring Flowers. You know I love to stencil. On blue cardstock 85 lbs. I used Catherine Poolers Minis in Rose Petals, Seafoam, and Stone blue. My rose petals ink looks purple but my intentions were pink LOL. Next, I cut my stenciled background to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
I used some ephemera from an Tim Holtz Idea-logy Pack called Palette. Lots of pretties in this Memorabilia pack. I grabbed these roses, and a lacy ephemera strip to use for this card. I love ephemera. The sentiment is from a digital EZ Cardmaking kit by LV Handcrafted called Smiling Florals. You can Use VONMARIEDESIGN to save. I also cut my sentiment strip with a Universal sentiments die available at Not 2 Shabby Shop. Everything was glued to a A2 top folding card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. That finishes my card I had so much fun making it. I bet I’ll find the clothes pins I was looking for after this challenge LOL.
