Floating Leaves…with Kelly

I loved the elegant jewel tones this week in the “Acorns” inspiration photo! I had just the papers in mind, the “Pumpkins & Plaid” collection by Simple Stories!

I decided to make a “Floating Card” with an acrylic overlay, using ideas from Creative Moments by G on YouTube. The larger fall die cut elements are from the Jumbo Curiosity series at The Greetery, “Acorns” and “Buckeye Leaf,” while the smaller are from “Curio: Autumn Findings.”

The inside has a top folding card embossed with Sizzix “Snowberry” embossing folder by Kathrin Breen. The patterned paper leaves are two-sided, ensuring they are pretty when the recipient opens the card!

The sentiments are from The Greetery’s “Thanks All Ways.”
