A Party Without Cake is Just a Meeting with MarDi

Rolling pins is the theme this week! I took inspiration from the theme, colors, and sketch. I made good use of my stash with this fun card, pulling out some oldies and some that just look like oldies.

This is the second time I’ve combined the Butter My Biscuit stamp set from Unity Stamps with this Lawn Fawn rolling pin. It just looks like she should be holding one in her hand. Her expression makes it hard to know how she intends to use it.

The sentiment, “A Party Without Cake is Just a Meeting,” is from a very old Hampton Arts set. “Hooray it’s Cake Time,” is from MFT Stamps. The banner dies are Paper Smooches, the botanicals are Spellbinders, and the lacy edger is Martha Stewart. I told you there were some oldies in here. That’s what makes the challenges so fun, being inspired to use those long neglected stamps and dies.

Patterned paper also helped to bring this fun card to life.
