This week’s “Vintage Display” seemed to have all of my favorite things in it…gingham, tin picnic baskets, strawberries, old dishes, and kitchen gadgets! I loved the soft green and red color scheme, too. I used Papertrey Ink’s amazing “Mom’s Kitchen” stamp and die set to create a charming vintage scene of my own!
I added some strawberry print “wallpaper” for the background from Carta Bella’s “Summer” paper collection. The birthday sentiment was created using the teapot from the “Mom’s Kitchen” stencil set with sentiments from “Seasoned With Love” and “Ways to Say: Happy Birthday” stamped over the top.
One summer afternoon, I got lost in the fun of stamping and die cutting all of the mini items to create my scene…the mug rack, the shelf, drawers, sparkling “marble” countertop, vase, jelly jar, and my favorites, the Bundt cake and the hen decor piece! No sweet detail is left out of this set of products! It was like playing with paper dolls or my dollhouse on a rainy afternoon in the 70’s!
