The bracelet theme for this week’s Inspired By challenge really made me think outside the box, which is not something that comes easily for me. I tend to take these challenges quite literally.
I had been trying to come up with an idea to create a bracelet themed card but nothing was coming to me. I started sifting through my smaller dies searching for ideas and I realized that this Into the Blooms: Wreath from Papertrey Ink looked a little like a baubley bracelet.
I loved the colors in the prompt but I really wanted to pull the coral color from the bracelets in the inspiration photo as well.
I’m so happy with how this card came out and it certainly reinforces why I enjoy this challenge so much. It inspires you to use your stash in creative ways you wouldn’t otherwise imagine.
In keeping with the bracelet circle theme, I embossed the kraft card panel and darker brown backing panel with Spellbinders Mandala Blooms embossing folder.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have a bracelet like this?
