Happy Birthday Birds with MarDi

This week’s Inspired By challenge has the cutest little rock birds in the photo and I was scratching my head for a few days wondering how to approach this challenge. Then I saw some of my Instagram friends using the adorable Tropical Friends die set from Spellbinders and I had my inspiration. I was even able to follow the sketch this time around.

I love using this hibiscus embossing folder from Erin Lee Creative for tropical cards. Once again, I applied the black out technique to give my card an incredible amount of color and texture. It’s definitely bold and bright.

If you’re like me, you keep some sentiments ready to go and since I’m always in need of birthday cards, Happy Birthday was my go to.
