A Shower Confection…with Kelly

This week’s inspiration photo is the perfect decor piece for any bridal or baby shower…yet it had me thinking about dessert! When I saw the beautiful florals and crystals cascading from the umbrella, I saw a cupcake!

Especially a lovely one from Papertrey Ink’s “Floral Confections” with the array of flowers and leaves in the set. To add some crystals to the mix, I embossed white cardstock with Sizzix’s “Sparkle” embossing folder by Tim Holtz, adding Stickles to some of the “dots” and a spritz of Perfect Pearls over the entire background.

The small sentiment is from “Floral Confections “ and the large sentiment from The Greetery’s “Scripted Sentiments.”
