Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! Von Marie here today and I’m so excited for this weeks challenge Cocoa Cafe #IB383. I love Cocoa, these colors, and Card Sketch too.
Let’s get started:

Well I think you know already how I was inspired so let’s get to my project.

I chose to use this really cute stamp set from the Not 2 Shabby Shop called Critter Cafe. It’s a Fall set but I think it’s for all occasions and I’m using it for Cocoa Cafe today even though it’s for coffee. So, I stamped out the tree, hedgehog, and fox, with Memento Tuxedo ink on white cardstock and colored them in with my copic markers to match the Inspiration photo. I then fussy cut on the line and used a dark gray marker to clean up my fussy cut imperfect lines.

Next, I used a sentiment from the Not 2 Shabby shop called Merry Mail that I believe was a stamp of the month last year. The subscriptions are so good I highly recommend checking them out. I only wanted the Hot Cocoa sentiment part of the scalloped oval stamp image so I masked with tape and it was pretty easy to just get that sentiment. I also stamped another sentiment from Sugar Pea Designs called Mug’s & Kisses. I cut out my sentiments using my paper trimmer. I also cut some green paper and gingham paper and glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I also tried to keep everything all on one side like the sketch. I think it’s cute.
You still have time to join us!
