Sending Comfort By The Bowl-Full With Von Marie!


Hello everyone.  Happy Tuesday and Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Von Marie here and I’m so excited to be on the blog today.  Isn’t our challenge this week so fun? Spring Brights #IB379 and a New Card Sketch.


Let’s Get started:

I was inspired by the colors, tulips, and bowl.  

I used a Layering Spring stencil from pretty Pink Posh that has 2 stencils one for the flowers and one for the greenery.  I used Concord & 9th ink cubes in Ballet Slippers, Buttercup, Parsley, and Aqua Sky on white cardstock.  I thought these colors of inks looked like the
inspiration photo. I then cut my stenciled background to be 4 x 5 1/4.

Next, I stamped a set of bowls image from Unity Stamp Co. called Bowl Full Of Comfort with Memento Tuxedo Dew Drop ink.  I colored the bowls with my Copic Markers to match the inspiration photo and my stenciled background.  I also stamped a sentiment and cut it with my paper trimmer.  Everything was then glued with liquid glue to a A2 side folding card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Lastly, I added some pink gems from Pinkfresh Studio.  I think this card came out, so cute.  I hope you join us!
