Eggs-tra Special with Kelly

Sometimes you begin a card with one idea, and end up making something you never eggs-pected, haha! That’s what happened this week after I saw the delightful floral eggs in the inspiration photo.

I knew I wanted to use Carta Bella’s “Home Again” patterned paper collection for the eggs. I die cut them using Honey Bee Stamps’ adorable “Egg Crate,” then noticed the fun letter board paper in the collection. I thought it would be fun to make a farm stand sign using The Greetery’s “Slim Alphabet” dies.

I colored some of the eggs with a sponge dauber and ink, then shaded the egg crate with Copic markers. So much fun! Now I can use this card for Easter, or as a fun note for a friend any time of the year!
