We had our first spring-like day here in Western New York yesterday! A few good downpours, but mild temperatures and a little sun, too! I’m starting to get excited for spring to arrive. The yellow flowers in the pretty aqua teapot made me think of our little picket fence and the yellow flowers I would like to plant soon…

I used a vintage Papertrey Ink set called “Petite Pots” with a sentiment from The Greetery’s “Spring Snowdrops” and “Let’s Have a Word: Spring.” The patterned paper pots are made with Simple Stories “Front Porch” collection. My fence design was created after watching an amazing tutorial by Georgia Lane on YouTube (@creativemomentsbyG).

The card is an A2 size with an extra front flap that becomes the fence. All you need is a woodgrain embossing folder, some paper, and glue! As you can see in this photo, there is a woodgrain sheet of paper as the card front…it’s underneath the fence line. It covers the writing inside the card so that it doesn’t peek through your fence slats.

Inside the card is another little flowerpot and a sweet sentiment from “Petite Pots.”
We can’t wait to see how this week’s photo inspired YOU! Thanks so much for stopping by!
